Year-Round Continuing Care Program
Wellspring Vancouver campers learn and live a healthy lifestyle at camp that is simple, scientific, and sustainable for long-term success. To help ensure a successful transition home, Wellspring continues to work with campers until June 1, 2011 in Wellspring Vancouver’s unique Continuing Care program.

Wellspring Vancouver’s online Continuing Care program ensures campers stay in regular contact with their Behavioural Coach (BC), having daily access to the friends that they made (and the support group they established) at camp. Campers self-monitor, journal, set goals, and weigh-in through this online program. At the same time, their BC from camp is closely monitoring their progress and providing feedback and support. During a camper’s last week at Wellspring Vancouver, he or she will be introduced to the Continuing Care program by their BC.

Wellspring believes so strongly in the Continuing Care program that campers who successfully complete the program will be refunded the entire cost of the Continuing Care program ($600 or CAD 640) refunded to them.
The fee is refunded based on meeting two criteria:
- Camper completes 140 out of 180 days of self-monitoring (at least 3 meals with fat and calories recorded per day)
- Parent (or camper) obtains a verified height and weight and provides this form back to Wellspring via mail, fax, or email.
And the support doesn’t stop there. Wellspring Vancouver’s Continuing Care program is so critical to a camper’s successful transition home and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle that it continues until June 1, 2011.

Wellspring strongly encourages family involvement and positive role-modeling of weight controlling behaviours. If other family members wish to use the Continuing Care site to participate from August 2010 until June 2011, they may do so free of charge.
